In the world of publishing and writing, everyone wants to know the secret to success. Do success patterns exist? How accurately can decision-makers predict that a book will be a New York Times bestseller or that a film will be a box office hit? And what should writers of novels and/or films keep in mind when creating their works? Join Sara Nelson ’78 (HarperCollins), Mallory Loehr (Penguin Random House), and Derek Green (Yale) as they discuss the ultimate question: Is there a formula for a bestseller or hit?

Yale Schwarzman Center Sessions are peer-led gatherings where conversations generate collaborations and move ideas into action. Because seats are limited, registrants will be automatically placed on the waitlist and will be notified via email if they are selected to participate.
