Request a Space

Located at the intersection of Grove and College streets in New Haven, Yale Schwarzman Center houses several multi-use venues that support dining, student life and the arts, and can often accommodate other events large and small, formal, and casual. YSC also manages the use of the Rotunda and Memorial Hall, the august spaces that connect YSC, Woolsey Hall, and Hewitt Quadrangle.

Eligibility & Review

All Yale students, faculty, and staff may request YSC spaces. A space request form (linked below for each venue) with the full event details is required to assess availability and book a space. Forms are compiled weekly, on Fridays, and are reviewed within ten business days. Please plan accordingly.

Costs to use YSC spaces will vary by event and the requested space. Fees may include labor, catering, production services, and security. Please note that external food or catering services are not permitted at YSC. Yale Hospitality is the exclusive provider. To provide estimates for your event, we will need a space request form.

Available Spaces

We are currently able to accept requests for the spaces pictured below. Due to the volume of inquiries, we ask that your request for event venues be submitted at least six weeks in advance of the preferred date. Requests  for events that are more than 5+ months away will be reviewed at a later date.
