For Events

Event fees at YSC may include catering, production services, labor, and security. To provide estimates for your event, we will need a space request form with the full event details.

Space Use Fees

  • As of today, Commons is the only venue with a space use fee and it is $1,000 per each day of your event.
  • The space use fess for the Presidents' Room and The Well have been temporarily waived, but there will be additional fees for catering, production services, and the labor.

Catering Services

Yale Hospitality is the exclusive provider for food/beverage at YSC. External food or catering services are not permitted. Catering menus can be found here

Hospitality Labor Fees

Labor fees are associated with each space. The fees include room setup, breakdown, cleaning and custodial services, and stewarding. Depending on how you envision the room layout for your event, the labor estimates for each space are as follows:

  • Commons for 450+ guests = $3,648
  • Presidents' Room for 50+ guests = $608
  • The Well for 50+ guests = $456

Production Services

External or personal production equipment are not permitted at YSC. The Schwarzman Center production team is the exclusive provider and will coordinate rentals with vendors if needed. Fees for production services will vary based on staff availability and the full details of the event.

Security

Yale Police will determine whether your event requires a security presence based on the details of the event (e.g., number of attendees). The fee for one officer with a four-hour minimum is $484. Multiple officers may be assigned.
