Schwarzman Session: Rice This Way
Schwarzman Sessions are peer-led gatherings where conversations generate collaborations and move ideas into action. Because seats are limited, registrants will be automatically placed on the waitlist and will be notified via email if they are selected to participate.
What if conventional economic metrics were challenged to take a holistic look at indigenous crops? Join Chef Selassie Atadika CEO and advocate for sustainable food systems, in a discussion around the broader benefits of an indigenous African rice. Blending insights from economics, public health, environmental science, and cultural studies, Sessionists will participate in a conversation that looks at a comprehensive set of indicators such as cooking yield, nutritional profile, water efficiency, and contributions to soil health to reframe the narrative around African rice.
