Yuhan Zhang joined the Schwarzman Center in 2021 as the Associate Director of Stakeholder Engagement.

Yuhan’s passion for the arts kickstarted her career as program manager at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in her hometown, Beijing, China. Most recently, she has stepped into the intersection of the nonprofit and the private sectors as an intern in the CEO Office at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and as a Strategy Consultant at OnePointFive, a sustainability advisory startup.

Prior to her work with WBCSD and OnePointFive, Yuhan worked in fundraising and general management in nonprofit arts organizations in New Haven and in New York; served as the Associate Managing Director of Yale Cabaret; completed a fellowship as Development Associate at Theatre Development Fund, and worked as a Production Associate for six productions at the 2019 Avignon Festival.

A traveler, Yuhan enjoys learning from, working with, and building community among individuals from different backgrounds and disciplines, whether that’s in a theater production, on a volleyball court, or elsewhere around the globe.

Yuhan holds a BA in French Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University and spent one year as an exchange student in Brussels where she honed skills in translation and interpretation. She is currently an MBA/MFA joint-degree candidate at David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and Yale School of Management.
