Moving Between Isolation

Moving Between Isolation

By Osvald Landmark in collaboration with performer Kellie Lynch and musician Cody Boyce

Performer Kellie Lynch works with Osvald Landmark to interpret the sensation of finding oneself in isolation and the ensuing struggle to regain one’s orientation by moving through time and space.

Isolation is most often invisible, It can be hard to tell where one ends and the next begins. Much like being lost – first one must accept that they are lost, only then can one reposition to understand and navigate the world with new perspectives and ideas.

The story pays homage to Plato’s Cave Allegory – In a time of a divided society and while we are still transcending out of the Covid isolation, it is more important than ever to question our perceptions of reality and to enable ourselves to engage with each other.
