Laura Paul

Laura Paul brings more than twenty years of leadership experience in the arts to her role as deputy director of Yale Schwarzman Center.

Prior to joining YSC in 2019, she served as director of strategic partnerships and development for Now + There, a Boston-based producer of temporary public art. In 2016, Laura was interim director of the Center for the Arts at Wesleyan University, where she was responsible for operations, donor stewardship, and cultural programming, and served as managing director of the Institute of Curatorial Practice in Performance, a master’s degree program in performance curation. From 2001 to 2015, she served in roles including interim co-executive director, chief operating officer, and chief financial officer of the New England Foundation for the Arts, a national grantmaker with flagship programs in dance, theater, and performing arts touring. 

Laura holds a BA in English Literature from Vassar College, and an MBA from Simmons University School of Management.
