The event will involve a procession from Center Church to Battell Chapel, where the program will take place at 4:00 p.m. A reception at the Schwarzman Center will follow.

Event Information
Backpacks and bags 12” x 12” or larger in size are not permitted at the event and reception, and Yale security staff cannot hold bags for guests. All bags are subject to search.
Bag inspections for the event will occur outside Battell on the slate area in Old Campus. Please allow ample time to arrive at the event and enter via Miller Gate or Phelps Gate and walk down the path to the three doorways into Battell Chapel. Phelps Gate is an accessible entrance.
The following items are prohibited at the event:
- Audible items (confetti poppers, and air horns)
- Animals apart from service animals. Service animals must be identifiable (e.g., service vest and paperwork).
Seating at the ceremony is first come, first served. The event will also be livestreamed at Sprague Hall and online at this webpage.
Bag inspections for the reception will occur at Commons.
