This week's workshop is for all levels of dancers. We welcome people ages 15 and under when accompanied by an adult.

EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome. This week's class will be led by Mai Lê Hô teaching a house dance workshop.

Start with an open conversation about House culture (who, when, where, why, and more). Move on to a warm-up followed by drill foundations. Then incorporate some variations, music, and freestyle exercises using the drill foundations as a basis.

This workshop is designed to connect movement with music and history and to provide tools for creativity and individuality.
