Mai Lê Hô

Mai Lê Hồ is a French Vietnamese dance artist, curator, and educator based in New York City. She is the Founding Director of LayeRhythm Productions, Inc, a nonprofit platform rooted in street and club dance cultures that unites freestyle dancers, live musicians, and audiences through improvisational, community-centered experiences. 

Since 2015, she has produced more than 140 LayeRhythm events, with presentations at Lincoln Center, Jacob’s Pillow, USC Kaufman, the Guggenheim, 92NY, the Harris Theater, Nublu and Public Records. She is also a 2023 Dancing Futures resident, a 2024 Bogliasco Foundation Fellow, and Bessies-nominated Outstanding Choreographer/Creator, and a 2025 Simons Foundation & Gibney Open Interval Resident Artist.
