Davenport Tea with award-winning composer, Michael Abels
If you’re interested in the April 21 YSC Session, “Creative License - A Session with Change Agent Michael Abels,” consider the following opportunity to get to know the composer and his work:
Davenport College will be hosting a tea with composer, Michael Abels in the Davenport Common Room. Abels is best-known for his scores for the Oscar-winning film Get Out, and for Jordan Peele’s Us, for which Abels won the World Soundtrack Award, the Jerry Goldsmith Award, a Critics Choice nomination, an Image Award nomination, and multiple critics awards.
In preparation for Abels’s visit, Davenport College will be screening Get Out, Us, and Nope in the Davenport Auditorium. The schedule for the screenings is as follows:
