William Zhang

William Zhang is a Master of Public Health (MPH) candidate in the Department of Chronic Disease Epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health. William graduated with distinction in microbiology and immunology from McGill University and has since worked in consulting under the health economics, outcomes research, and litigation support portfolios. William has also worked as an infectious disease epidemiologist at the Public Health Agency of Canada during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In parallel, William has always had a keen interest in fashion, from the economics of luxury/designer goods to the impact of fast fashion, to creative direction in fashion marketing and photography campaigns, to upcycling/slow fashion, to styling, and to editorial writing. To inform the context of fashion, William enjoys creating and viewing art, travelling, reading, learning about film and music, and engaging in gastronomy.
