Dominic Gearing ’26, professionally known as Dom, is a producer and DJ originally from Austin, Texas. Dom has been a fan of music since he was 8 years old, when his dad would put 70s/80s/90s rock on the radio every morning on the way to school. Now, he pulls from multiple genres, especially from the classic sounds and raw samples of the late 20th and early 21st century, to create an energetic mix of electronic music and the sounds of his earliest inspirations. Dom’s mixes transcend genre and time to deliver unique and interesting new sounds to share with others. Dom is affiliated with 17o1 Records, the only record label dedicated to Yale’s student artists.
