Discover the hidden gem of Yale University's campus, The Well, and embark on a culinary adventure with our exclusive Tasting Series. Led by expert sommeliers and mixologists, our classes offer a unique opportunity to explore a variety of beverages, from fine wines and craft beers to innovative cocktails and spirits.

There’s a whole world hiding inside a bottle of sake. Join us on October 13 as we taste our way through the category, exploring how sake is made, where it comes from, and the incredible range of styles that can emerge from just a few simple ingredients.

Led by Janine Sacco of Skurnik Wines & Spirits, this education-focused Master Class will take a deeper look at the elements that shape what’s in the glass. Through a thoughtfully selected lineup of sakes, we’ll explore rice and polishing, koji, fermentation and brewing techniques, history, classifications, regional styles, and how these elements influence aroma, texture, flavor, and overall style. IVY French Fries will serve as a fun pairing for the sake.

Designed for those who enjoy the learning side of a tasting experience, this class goes a little deeper than our traditional Tasting Series while remaining approachable for newcomers. No experience required, no pop quiz at the end—just great bottles, good conversation, and a little tasting in the name of education.

Join us for these exciting classes and expand your palate while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of The Well. Presented in collaboration with Yale Schwarzman Center Hospitality.
