EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome. This week Cirque Kikasse will teach you how to gain the skills needed to join the circus.

Members of the Quebec city based Cirque Kikasse will teach two workshops open to all levels.

Classes will introduce the company, the art of circus performance, and the life of touring artists. The workshop is design like a circuit training session where foundational circus skills are broken out into a rotating 20 minute intervals. Each station has a dedicated instructor who guides participants on ground acrobatics,  hand to hand, column, human-pyramid, spatial awareness, juggling, and more.  The class will close with a brief discussion and group exercise.

Maximum capacity for both workshops is 20 participants. Participants may register for one or both workshops. No experience required!

Acrobats balance on top of a food truck.

Cirque Kikasse is a breathtaking acrobatic show! An extraordinary mobile circus where trampoline, balances and juggling meet. The truck can transform into a terrace, offering fast food and bar service. A unique and turnkey party zone!

An original, professional and safe (circus) stage where shows of exceptional quality are presented, accompanied by an offering of craft beers and delectable meals taken on the go.
