EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach Sunday masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome.

860 MVMNT

Connecticut-based 860 MVMNT blazes a trail in the world of dance, captivating audiences with a genre-bending blend of hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and urban choreography. Led by Artistic Director Jolet Creary, the company pushes boundaries to explore new frontiers in movement. Devoted to the next generation of dancers and the community, 860 MVMNT offers mentorship and training programs led by industry professionals, as well as workshops and masterclasses that empower young talent, nurture growth, and create opportunities.

This EveryBody Dances class will be led by Jayden Chan aka Chan-Li. He will teach a street dance style called Litefeet which is open-level and beginner-friendly.

Chan-Li is a young enthusiastic dancer, that specializes in both choreography and freestyle. He has won many competitions such as Red Bull Dance Your Style, World of Dance, and Snipes Capital Classic. He has traveled to many states for dance and continues to push his career through hard work and determination.
