Good Luck, Graduates!

Garth Ross, Executive Director

Dear Friends,

As the end of the 2020-2021 academic year approaches, I’ve been reflecting on the resilience of students who embraced new models of remote and hybrid learning to make it to their goal of graduation. As evidenced in our digital programs archived in Replay, and now premiering in AREAS, the constraints of physical distance have been no match for students’ determination to collaborate and innovate. I’m excited to see creativity cultivated at Yale extending into the wider world, and I join with others in celebrating the Class of 2021.

I’d also like to extend special thanks to graduating students who made meaningful contributions to the Yale Schwarzman Center team during this academic year:

Carl Holvick YSD, SOM’21
Associate Director, Stakeholder Engagement

Shaz Talukder YC’21
Social Media Coordinator

Kenneth Xu YC’21
Marketing Researcher

In the coming weeks, we’ll add these students to our growing list of YSC Alums – former student staff and fellows – who have been instrumental in the Center’s development.

To all graduating students across the Yale community, please keep in touch by adding your personal or alumni email address to the YSC subscription list. When the Center opens its doors this fall, we’d love to have you back for a tour of the building, a meal, and an arts experience in  YSC’s new and renovated spaces, or perhaps a drink at The Well.

We’d also love to hear how you’re doing from time to time. Your stories are sources of inspiration that help connect YSC to the world awaiting future Yale graduates.

Wishing you all the best,

Garth Ross
Executive Director
