Climate change is happening and we cannot deny that. Building climate resilience through sustainable actions is a topic of importance now more than ever. While investments drive innovation in reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and governments, think tanks, and policy firms develop ways to bring producer responsibility into the context of climate change, a question remains about the role consumers should play in this newly envisioned ecosystem. How can consumers be nudged towards making sustainable choices that can lead to a reduction of carbon footprint? Join us for this Session as we explore a re-designed model of consumer interaction (through design strategy, environmental accounting, consumer insight, policy, education etc.) to achieve an ideal of motivated consumers who make sustainable choices that help climate resilience.

Lead Sessionist:

Anuradha Eswaran is an Advanced Management student at the Yale School of Management deeply interested in sustainability and consumer insight. Prior to Yale, she was a management consultant and a director of a green commerce start-up.
