I Belong: Having a Seat at the Table in the Workplace

4.20.22 | 12pm–1:30pm
April 20, 2022 | 12pm–1:30pm |
In-person (location TBD)

Instructions

This event is open to the public. Please sign up for the waitlist here by Monday, April 18 at 5pm if you are interested. We will run a lottery to promote 9 people to participate once registration is closed. You will be notified via email on whether you will be participating as a Sessionist.

I belong; it is a space to discuss race and equality in the workplace. Attendees will speak freely about their personal experiences and collaborate on action items focusing on ways spaces of work can assist and provide opportunities for advancement and leadership to individuals from underrepresented groups. Questions guiding this Session include, “What are some common challenges?” and “Have you experienced someone advocating for you on your behalf?” Participants will explore how though they each may be different on the surface, they share similar goals in the workplace.
