Joseph J. Simeone has spent his life moving between worlds: Broadway stages, concert-dance studios, rehearsal rooms, and classrooms. His Broadway credits include A Bronx Tale, The Phantom of the Opera, and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. He played Riff in West Side Story under Arthur Laurents, performed as Al in A Chorus Line under Bob Avian, and partnered Tiler Peck in Susan Stroman’s Little Dancer at the Kennedy Center. His dance career has also taken him into the worlds of Merce Cunningham, Pina Bausch, Mark Morris, and American Ballet Theatre. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Joseph now loves passing all of that experience along, helping dancers discover the musicality, character, imagination, and sheer joy that can make a performance come alive.
