As a Community Engagement Fellow at YSC, Yuna works with the Artistic Director to lead the coordination of the signature program and the peer-led collaborative session, and with various members of the YSC staff to support communications that highlight the Center’s works.

Yuna’s research as a PhD candidate at Yale School of Management focuses on improving policy frameworks responding to transnational emergencies like climate change and the COVID19 pandemic. She takes a holistic view in her research with the aim of preserving public safety. Accordingly, Yuna's approach to her work takes into account diverse perspectives in a collaborative, future-intelligence-gathering and medium-to-long-term vision-building process that provides alternative problem-solving. Yuna also takes this approach in her creative projects.

Prior to beginning her doctorate studies in Strategic Foresight, Intelligence & Policy, Yuna worked as a business planning manager and an equity financial analyst in the financial industry. She also previously worked as a speechwriter and copywriter at a broadcasting company.  Also, Yuna has served as a director of a music production entertainment group, and as a marketing manager for various shows and concerts including the American rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the musical based on the French novel Le Passe-Muraille among others.

Yuna comes to New Haven from Seoul, South Korea.
