Storyboard 2026

Poetry

and the Everyday

What role, if any, does poetry play in our everyday lives?

About Storyboard

Storyboard is a platform for sharing ideas, a digital space where stories emerge through call and response. Each year, we invite students to share their diverse experiences and voices. To embrace the breadth of students' experiences and creative expressions, we are seeking well-crafted and thought-provoking music, film, photography, poetry, dance, and other genres of multimedia storytelling. The entries will be curated and presented as a virtual exhibition on our website.

Poetry and the Everyday

Through any medium of your choice, consider the ways you interact with poetry on a daily basis, if at all. For example, can poetry be found in nature? Are our conversations with one another in some way, poetic? Can poetry still truly influence societal change, in our contemporary moment, or is it primarily an isolated art form?

The digital exhibition will go live on Monday, March 30.

Artists selected for this project are Makda Assefa '26, Amy Xiao '29, Xinning Shao '26, Alistair Lam '27, Camille Chang '26, Nuria Sanchez Matias '30 GRD, Michelle So '28, Kyo Lee '29, Sophia Liu '27, Inkpa Mani-Lara Ruiz '26 ART, Elisabeth Nwasokwa '26, and Owuraku Sintim '27 FES.
