Rob Chikar

MFA'14

With a decade of theatrical production management and stage management, Rob Chikar, Stage Management, MFA'14, has been part of the management teams for Broadway, Off Broadway, and regional theaters around the country.

His Broadway credits include The King and I, Larry David’s Fish In The Dark, and You Can’t Take it With You. In addition, he has a background in music festivals and outdoor events as operations manager. Prior to theater, Rob spent 8 years in Hospitality and Event Management throughout Southern California. He holds a BFA from Southern Oregon University and an MFA from Yale School of Drama and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.

Rob is primarily responsible for production oversight and managing production activities within the Schwarzman Center for a variety of events in a range of multi-purpose venues. He helps develop and implement production policies that ensure safe working conditions and high organizational and artistic standards at YSC.

Rob hails from Ventura, CA. He is an adventurer who enjoys camping and photography.
