Matías is a recent graduate of Yale College, where he majored in Economics and Humanities. Having grown up in Quito, Ecuador, before coming to college, he is proud to call the Elm City his second home. As the Woodbridge Fellow for Yale Schwarzman Center, Matías supports the marketing and communications team across a range of initiatives, including by pitching content-strategy improvements, copy editing public-facing materials, and photographing the Center's events. He has previously worked in journalism — including at Forbes and at the campus publications BRINK: A Review of Books and The New Journal — and in management consulting.
Outside of work, he is an enthusiast of world film, literary nonfiction, and delicious food. He hopes one day to call himself a lawyer or a writer (possibly both).
