Before Marvel Studios released “Deadpool & Wolverine” in July of 2024, Connecticut natives and cousins Davey Lozano and Julian Shadeck were already engulfing themselves in that universe.

Lozano has been sporting the suit of the Marvel comics character Deadpool for three years, putting on the hefty red and black superhero costume at comic conventions, movie theater lobbies and birthday party gigs. And since the announcement of the third Deadpool film in 2023, Shadeck has joined him as Wolverine. They both donned costumes to attend Yale Schwarzman Center's event: Dynamic Duo: A Conversation with Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy, Moderated by Kevin McCarthy.
