Sensing Resonance

Join artist Leo Villareal and Elizabeth Rossa of Laboratory of the Self for an immersive meditation and chanting practice under the illumination and soundscape of Villareal's Celestial Garden installation in The Dome at the Schwarzman Center. The practice will combine the healing properties of light and frequencies of sound in tandem with human voices coming together in ancient sounds creating a transformative and deeply meditative experience.

Elizabeth Rossa is the founder/director of SHRIYOGA. Since departing its original location at 443 Greenwich Street in 2009, Shriyoga has operated as an underground laboratory of genuine yoga, meditation and Self-Inquiry practices in the private home lofts of some of its most dedicated students, as well as on Zoom. Since that time, the community has grown to be a remarkable virtual experiment in excavating the mysteries of human embodiment through time and space. Elizabeth is committed to an on-going depth of study which the on-line realm has offered her, and therefore, the classes/practices she offers are also in the on-line realm.  An intimacy has emerged in this kind of space which has continued to probe into the reality of human interconnectedness. Elizabeth teaches all limbs of yoga, with a special focus on meditation and chanting, in what is emerging as a Laboratory of the Self.
