Christian comes to YSC with a background in ticketing, customer service, and event operation. From 2019-2021, Christian worked as the audience services manager at the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven. He is the co-founder and co-director of the Ecuadorian Film Festival in New York (EFFNY). EFFNY was founded in 2015 with the aim of bringing current and significant independent Ecuadorian cinema to the South American diaspora in New York City. Running on their seventh year, Christian continues to support and supervise the festival's programming.
Born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, Christian currently resides in New Haven, Connecticut. He graduated from Universidad San Francisco de Quito with a BA in Economics. When he is not in the office, Christian enjoys mountain biking and playing the drums.
