Samantha Greene is thrilled to continue on The Comet / Poppea journey in New Haven! She made her Broadway debut on South Pacific at Lincoln Center Theater, and has worked on almost every Lincoln Center stage. She spent 10 years with New York City Opera, where she stage managed more than 30 productions, including As One, Anna Nicole, Turn of the Screw, Orpheus, Séance on a Wet Afternoon, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Candide, and Cinderella.
Other New York City credits include Westerly Breath, and Handel, Made in America (Metropolitan Museum of Art); Doppelganger (Park Avenue Armory); Morning Star (On Site Opera); Desire (Miller Theatre). Selected regional credits include Fiddler on the Roof and Madama Butterfly (Austin Opera); Wayne Shorter and Esperanza Spalding’s Iphigenia; A Christmas Carol (American Conservatory Theatre); Twilight:Gods (Michigan Opera Theater); Twelfth Night (The Old Globe); Cold Mountain (North Carolina Opera); When I Come to Die and Pippin (Kansas City Rep); Travesties (McCarter Theatre); Sweeney Todd (The Atlanta Opera); Sleeping Beauty Wakes (La Jolla Playhouse); The Medium (Opera de Monte-Carlo).
