Raymond Pinto is a multidisciplinary artist and creative thinker; working across performance, film, sound, printmaking, and sculpture. Rooted conceptually in the idea of diaspora as a dynamic site of movement, memory, and transformation, his work explores how histories of displacement and cultural exchange shape the possibilities of the body and creative expression. Drawing on improvisation as both method and philosophy, Raymond’s teaching invites participants to engage in spontaneous exploration that deepens bodily awareness, encourages presence, and fosters a collective dialogue where individual creativity and communal resonance coexist. Through this process, participants discover how movement can become a living conversation — an unfolding journey of connection, discovery, refuge, and renewal.
