Parini Secondo was born in 2017 from an idea by Sissj Bassani (Cesena,1997) and Martina Piazzi (Bologna, 1997) and involves dancers Camilla Neri and Francesca Pizzagalli. Questioning the relationship between art and originality, the group works on choreography to sublimate pop trends by being inspired by online material. They collaborate with musician, producer and teacher Alberto Ricca/Bienoise, emphasizing the importance of the relationship between music, rhythm and dance.

In 2020, Parini Secondo created 'SPEEED', which later was selected for La Vetrina della Giovane Danza d'Autore (2022) and went on a national and international tour still continuing today. In 2021, Parini Secondo and Magdalena Oettl signed the international co-production 'beme', winner of the KreativCampus.Ruhrresidency program (Essen, DE). In 2023, Parini Secondo was chosen for the NID Platform (Cagliari) with the open studio work 'do-around-the-world'. In 2024, with 'HIT' and 'HIT OUT', the company received production support and touring support from SIAE 'Per chi crea'. These projects are a co-production with Santarcangelo Festival and Bolzano Danza and has been invited at the Biennal CINARS 2024 in Montreal. It then followed a national and international tournée, reaching till cities in France, Norway, Taiwan, Spain, Poland, Japan, and other countries.
In 2025, the project 'INCANTO' (working title) will begin its development: a new production for theatre venues inspired by magical forms of persuasion, scheduled to premiere in 2026. Moreover, in 2026, Parini Secondo will participate in the DanceBase/Yokohama (JP) residency program with 'SLOOOOOOW' , an extended version of 'SPEEED'.
In 2024 Parini creates and curates the festival Tra questa gente esiste un sentimento (en: Among this people there is a feeling) within the program of Teatro Petrella (Longiano IT), in collaboration with Cronopios and ATER Fondazione. From 2025 Parini Secondo is associated artist of VAN cultural association.
