Jeremy O. Harris
Harris is the playwright and producer of Slave Play, currently on the West End. He was nominated for two 2023 Tony Awards for producing The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window and Ain’t No Mo’. His play Daddy premiered Off-Broadway with Alan Cumming at the New Group and then at London’s Almeida Theatre with Claes Bang before premiering at Tokyo’s Globe Theatre. In 2023 in collaboration with Gucci and Monteverdi he started the SUBSTRATUM residency where he mentored five young writers selected through the 2023 Yale Drama Series competition for a month. Jeremy co-wrote A24’s critically acclaimed Zola alongside director Janicza Bravo. He is currently developing new series for FX, HBO, and Legendary. He is also currently working with Universal, HBO Films, and Warner Bros. His documentary feature debut Slave Play. Not a Movie. A Play. had its US premiere on HBO.
