Karma Stylz is a New York City-based choreographer, movement artist, educator, performer, and DJ whose interdisciplinary practice is grounded in Ballroom culture and the history, technique, and artistic language of Vogue. His work spans concert dance, television, film, commercial performance, and nightlife, with credits including F's Pose, HBO Max's Legendary, The Get Down, Works & Process at the Guggenheim, Lincoln Center, the Harlem Globetrotters, Nike, Adidas, Vogue Magazine, Madonna, Beyonce, and Nicki Minaj. He is a member of Les Ballet Afrik Dance Company and serves on the faculty of Broadway Dance Center, where he teaches Old Way Vogue.
As DJ Karma Stylz, his sound mirrors his movement practice - mixing the old with the new, blending classic New York and Disco with House, Soul, R&B, and Afro-influenced sounds through distinctly new-school lens. Drawing on decades of experience as a dancer and cultural practitioner, he approaches the booth with an instinct for rhythm, movement, and the energy of the room.
