Galen Jones MPH/MBA ’26

Galen Jones MPH/MBA ’26 is a joint master’s degree student at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs and the Yale School of Public Health. He is studying public health and business administration, focusing on healthcare and protection in conflict settings. Prior to his studies at Yale, he served as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant in the U.S. Army, primarily working in the Baltics. After leaving the military, Jones worked with an NGO in Ukraine, where he trained medical personnel at the outset of the current conflict. He spent the past two summers with the World Health Organization’s Emergency Programme in Cairo, Egypt, supporting the organization’s efforts in the Sudan, and with the Maritime Humanitarian Aid Foundation, helping develop services for returnees from Al-Hol refugee camp in Syria.
