Schwarzman Sessions are peer-led gatherings where conversations generate collaborations and move ideas into action. Because seats are limited, registrants will be automatically placed on the waitlist and will be notified via email if they are selected to participate.

Can a song truly heal? Explore the growing frontier of “music as medicine” with Jamie Pabst, founder and CEO of Spiritune. Pabst will unpack their research journey and invite discussion on how technology, science, and creativity can converge to make mental health care more human. Learn more about how evidence-based compositions are being used to address anxiety, fatigue, and cognitive performance.

This Session is a collaboration between Yale Schwarzman Center, Tsai CITY, and the Good Life Center.

Questions to consider:

  • What role do you think creativity should play in the future of health care?
  • Have you ever used music or sound intentionally to shift your physiology (e.g., for sleep, focus, or stress)?
  • What barriers exist to integrating art or emotion into “serious” scientific or institutional spaces?
